We are a living wage employer, helping to train and create jobs for people who need a fresh start in life.

Employment and Training

Our two-year programme starts with a job in one of our 12 social enterprises. We offer every member of our team practical training and recognised qualifications in partnership with local colleges.

Housing

We place each Team Member in a safe home and community. In 2016 we opened the doors to The Oaks – a 12-bedroom residential training centre in Sharston.

Christian Support

What makes the MEC distinctive is that our Christian faith underpins everything we do. All of our Team Members have have demonstrated a desire to live a Christian lifestyle. Each Team Member undertakes our Roots discipleship programme which is a resource designed to help them stand firm in the Christian faith.
